August Wrap Up

I had a really good reading month in August, altogether I read 13 books which is really good for me. I think it helped that I was away for 2 weeks of the month so I could spend a lot more time reading. So here are all the books I read in August.

So where are the 13 books I hear you ask and okay I know these pictures don't really look like much but I discovered NetGalley this month so I have read a lot on my kindle. Anyway time to stop waffling here are the books I read in August from highest rating to lowest rating. As I've already wrapped up my holiday reading I'm not going to mention them here but if your interested in seeing them hop on over to my holiday wrap up post here

  1. I'm glad you posted this because I couldn't remember who posted the Scarlet review. I wanted to share A.W. Exley writes some fairytale retellings that you might like. I've read another series by her and I loved it so it is probably just as good.

  2. I was enthralled by The Roanoke Girls - while I am not into the dark taboo stuff, I could not put this book down, it was incredibly well paced

  3. Hi friend! Which Netgalley books did you read? Also, I have never heard of The Roanoke Girls, although I did find that part of US history fascinating...mainly because of the lost colony and the Croatoan sign in the tree.

    1. I would definitely recommend The Roanoke Girls. That was one of my NetGalley reads as well as I Know Where She Is, Hide and Seek and Mask of Shadows.

  5. I really enjoyed 'The Hate you Give', such a powerful book for a YA book.
