Top 5 Wednesday - Longest Books on your TBR

Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme where you discuss your 'top 5' in a variety of different topics on, guess what, a Wednesday. Full list of topics and more information can be found here on the Goodreads group.

This weeks topic is the longest books on your TBR. Now my TBR probably fits well for this topic as it is incredibly long however, most of my books are currently packed in boxes. This makes it difficult for me to physically see my longest books so for this post I will be listing 5 books that I know to be over 500 pages that are currently on my physical TBR.

The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee

36544848

My edition comes in at 513 pages. This is my most recent purchase and I've heard so many good things about it.

Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi

My edition comes in at 531 pages. This was one of my most anticipated reads of the year and I still haven't read it yet!

Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

36187690

My edition comes in at 536 pages. I loved Laini Taylors Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy so I'm excited to dive into this one.

Renegades by Marissa Meyer

37555241

My editions comes in at 576 pages. I received a copy of this one for review via NetGalley when it first came out and I still haven't read it! I loved Heartless and The Lunar Chronicles so I don't doubt I'll love this one too.

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

25524728

My edition comes in at 599 pages. I have this on my current Mythothon TBR that's happening throughout this month so hopefully I'll have read this one very soon.

What are the longest books on your TBR? I'd love to hear about them.

  1. I tend to get very long books that I want to read on audiobook as I can listen to them while I do other things and still enjoy them.

    1. I've never listened to an audiobook although I would like to. Are there any you would recommend?

  2. I love list articles like this one! I am curious to see what you'll think of Illuminae!! Loooooved that book so much, damn! And even though it's nearly 600 pages, you're going to finish it really fast because of the different formats used on the pages. Some pages only have a couple of sentences for example and things like that.

Strange the Dreamer, the gentleman's guide to vice and virtue and Children of Blood and Bone are still on my tbr as well. Renegades is still on my wishlist :)

  4. I have a book on my TBR list that I was sent before any details were uploaded to Amazon and the person told me that they weren't sure on the count. It is over 700 pages - Really puts me off reading a book if they are too long.

  5. I don't mind a hefty book as long as it's digital. ;)

  6. Probably any of the books in the Outlander series. They are about 800-900 pages each. LOL
